hey fellows..

we are now at the NVC stage ( yeeeey ) (almost done henh?? )

well we did send , the AOS package and the IV package...and all i wanna know, whatis going to happen next?? will the NVC contact us?? will they tell us that they have received the packages??? would it take too long before they confirm receiving it??

do we have to call them???

how long do we have to wait before calling them???

but i'll be really glad if there is an answer

Have you send DS-3032 (choice of agent&address)?

Have you paid your AOS fee ($88) and IV bill ($404)?

Because, those two things should be done before sending the AOS package and IV package.

When the signing in failed (SIF) it means your case is closed in NVC, and you will get an email to give you a date to an interview. Good luck

NVC stage people, provided there are no missing documents or RFEs it is unlikely you will hear from them until the interview date. However you can check to see if you get a sign in fail on the portal where you paid your fees, if it states the sign in fail........YOU ARE done at NVC, next stop Embassy! both you and your partner will get notice of interview date. This is the quick answer based on what I have read.

Not unless they need further documentation or when you ahve done to tell you of your interview date

Not that I am aware of, but you can call them anytime after a period of delivery to see if it has arrived, they may not tell you anything else though.

Give the package time to arrrive at NVC, depending on how you sent it, about a week before calling ( IMO)

The standard line form NVC is that they will not tell you if they have received your packages or not, and as said above, processing is quite quick--a few weeks is the norm--unless you have an RFE and then you will hear from them--this is one case where no contact is exactly what you want !!

Our case had gone to NVC and we recieved one email needing clarification. We have been waiting to hear that it was accepted and i read your answer here. So, I attempted to log into our NVC site and it actually says sign in failed. Your case is no longer being processed at NVC. Can this be right?? I was told by attorney that NVC calls embassy and schedules interviews and NVC would notify us. It appears the embassy does the scheduling. I recieved no word from NVC at all.

well however if the NVC send us a RFE how long would it take to get it...???i mean i just wanna know what is the bottom line to evacuate all the worries and stress of having a RFE...how long do i have to wait before i say " well now im safe"
