When my wife gets her visa and arrives here what do we do then is there forms to be filed or wha?

90 days before her green card expires, you MUST file to remove conditions on her Cr-1

Other than that, probably go to the SSA (even if you checked that you want the SSN delivered) to get her an SSN. Also, just wait for the green card

None. If your wife is coming under CR-1 visa.

File for the AOS (Adjustment of Status) if she's coming on a K-3 visa.

Uh no. 90 days prior to her second anniversary of POE she has to remove conditions of CR-1 to IR-1.

If it's K3 visa they have 90 days to get hitched.

Oh boy! She'll have a resident since date on her card and an expiration date. 90 days before her Green card expires she'll file to remove conditions. Subsequently, that is also the SAME date as 90 days before her POE, since her CR-1 visa will result in a 2 year green card, her 'resident since' date will be her POE date. Since I am currently going through ROC, you'd think I'd know that right?!?!?

IR is a visa, visas are issued to people who want to enter the country. Since she will already be in the country, obviously she won't need a visa. Her Cr-1 will expire the moment she steps into the US. She'll remove conditions on her 2 year green card, applying for a 10 year green card

And if it is a k-3 visa, that is a spousal visa, they would not need to 'get hitched' since they would already be married

Totally read that wrong...speed reading FTL! I thought it read, after 90 days that she enters she has to remove conditions on her GC. My mistake...

As soon as she gets her social security card, yes, she can begin employment.
