Going to run out of status before getting noa1 hard copy

Hey,

Its been a week now since sending my package I-485 etc after marriage to US citizen and still no e notification (aware it can take longer). My problem is i think i will run out of status (B1/B2 visitor expires june 14) before i receive my hard copy NOA in the mail. Will this be a problem? I'm aware of the 180 day rule but if they don't open my package until after the 14th does it mean that i should have filed it differently or filed something else along with it?

Any thoughts would be very helpful, thanks!

Overstay it irrelevant/forgiven for spouses of US Citizens, and you won't be anywhere near 180 days to trigger a ban so you can still use AP. So no, nothing to do different.Good luck.

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Did they cash your payment?

Did you file the I-485 with the I-130 and medical and accompanying documents?

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
