Joint sponsor information will not be needed until your case arrives at the NVC and you file the I-864. Joint sponsor will also file paperwork.

No, fianancial information does not go to USCIS with your initial packet, that will be requested at the NVC level. If you do not have enough income to meet the requirements you will be asked to provide a co-sponsor. If you already know you do not meet the minimum levels, you can begin working on a co-sponsor now

good luck

Posted times by USCIS is 5 months. Which service center was your petition sent to? I've seen many posts from people that Vermont is running slower than California.

Service centers seem to flipflop on which one goes faster or slower. When we were at the USCIS level California was going so slow then all the sudden BAM!!! It started moving so FAST and left Vermont in the dust. So never go according to which is faster, because really you will drive yourself nuts for no reason! wacko.gif

Sometimes it can be so fast when you get the NOA2, which is your approval or the I-130 and other times it can take 5 month to more for the approval. Most however recieve the approval around the 5 month mark. This step is supposed to be the longest step. During this time you can stay busy and focused on gathering everything needed for the NVC stage of this process. Your co-sponsor's info is not needed until the NVC stage. So you will have plenty of time to get all info needed from them, but let me give you a friendly warning.. BE PREPARED FOR THE NVC STAGE OR YOU ARE ONLY HOLDING YOURSELF UP!!! USE THE TIME BETWEEN YOUR NOA1 AND NOA2 TO PREPARE! Best wishes my friend, I'm cheering for you and Ayman!!! good.gif
