Hi everybody,

I just received my Green Card 10 Years a month a go. My three years will end Feb 2012. So when I have to start the processes for my citizenship?

There is no need to start that process at all. You can stay a lawful permanent resident for as long as you want.

You can apply 90 days before the 3 year anniversary of the "resident since" date on your greencard. So if your greencard says you are resident since 28th February 2009, then you can apply on 30th November 2011 (90 days before Feb 28th, 2012).

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
