I am preparing my I-134 in antcipation of NOA2 anyday now (call me a dreamer, but I believe in miracles)For line 11, I wrote "Provide for all her needs before and after marriage". I am not sure if this is appropriate but that's all I can come up with. I need help with suggestions please.

I never heard about I-134 until today that my friend's fiancee is filing for her. I am now confused about the differene between I-134 and 864 cuz my hubby only filed I-864 when we were filing for K1...My friend and her fiancee are also confuse too..I am helping them out and now I don't know what to tell her ...I really don't remember that my hubby filed for I-134 and I have read that it has to be notarized too...I-864 doesn't need to be notarized...Thank you very much guys!!!!

My income from 2000-2008 was more than adequate for approval. However, in 2008, I went back to school to become a doctor. As a matter of fact...in the Philippines where I met my fiance 4 yrs ago. I'm at the end of school and would like to bring her home to the US now. However, I don't have an adequate income meeting the minimum requirements over the past 4 years. However, my income potential as a physician in the US should count for something, right? Or, even with my previous position as and ICU Nurse and US Army Officer Reservist should be adequate right? I'm NOT SO SURE...so, question is....K-1 or I-130 ? I've heard that the US Embassy in Manila doesn't accept co-sponsorships...true or myth?? HELP...I start my internship in the US this March. Thanks

I think you'll be fine. As long as u don't belong to poverty level you'll be ok... I haven't heard about US embassy in Manila doesn't accept co-sponsorship. If US allows it why not in Manila?I think that's just a myth. If you are a US Citizen and you wish to bring your fiance(e) to US to get married you must file K1 visa application. Form I 130 is used by either by a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident to petition their spouse to immigrate to United States. This process is a lengthy process when compared to that of K1 and other processes.

For the 1-134, my mother might have lost my certification of citizenship document years back :(

It takes up to 6 months to receive a new one, plus 600 USD.

Is that mandatory? Or can i present my SSN and Passport?

I am doing a k-1 visa for my finace in Peru, do I haveeee to present this form? or only if they ask it of me.

Should I be worried about this now? being that it takes up to 6 months to receive a copy of this certificate, or should I wait for USIS to tell me what I need? It might be a I-864?
