What exactly is "lambing" and why does it always cost me money??

My wife calls me from work, and says, "I want to make lambing to you. I am broke. Can you give me money?"

Now, exactly where did this cultural phenomenon come from, and how is the custom passed on? Do Pinay learn through example, books, or is this passed on from mother to daughter in secret rites of passage? Are there rules, and where can I find those?

I realize I will not win, so, I just give in.

Lambing is Sweet, she's just actually asking a favor if she could ask money from you coz as she said, she's broke its not a phenomenon, and its not just a filipina thing, we just do it wayyyyyyy better than any other girls there are no rules, its still up to you if you give in or not, politely say no.. be very careful, we pinays are very good at being tampo(sulking) if its not much, nothing wrong with giving in, she is your wife after all but then again, this is just MY opinion

Lambing, on the positive side, is an act of giving sweet nothings making the heart burst out of joy, hugs and kisses making the relationship grow fonder and the miracle pill for two hearts angry at each other making them reconcile.

Lambing, on the negative side, nowadays it's being use as sugar-coat for the word "manipulation" for someone to get what he wants.
