Hello all,

My cousin is going to start getting her paperwork ready to bring her fiancée to the US and I am going to help her. So here is my question...I saw on the guides all that she needs to send to USCIS but I saw nothing on whether she needs to show she is financially able to support him. I know I had to for my husband but for a fiancée I am not sure. Thanks for your reply in advance!!

Yes, at the interview stage. The petitioner will need to send the beneficiary an I-134 (Affidavit of Support) along with supporting evidence that the beneficiary will not become a public charge. This is not needed for the original petition.
