Question About Packet 4

Hi all,

The Packet 4 email correspondence from Sydney Consulate includes a Checklist for Day of Interview, and I just have some clarifications for the following instructions they sent:

1. "Please ensure that the panel physician provides you with a copy of Form DS-3025, Vaccination Documentation Worksheet as part of your permanent health record. You should hand-carry this document with your sealed visa package and any other medical paperwork. If you did not receive a copy of the DS-3025 Vaccination Documentation Worksheet we can provide one for you at the time of your interview."

-> I'm quite confused with this instruction since I already sent them my original Medical Results package including DS-3025 and the originals signatures from the panel physicians in the Packet 3. Do I have to worry about it and email them that I already included this in Packet 3 sent to them or just ignore this? I am planning to bring the photocopies of it though in the interview.

2. 2 Passport Photographs and they listed the following photographers only:

LIST OF PHOTOGRAPHERS:

Sydney City Royal Express Shop 22, (Food Court Level) , MLC Centre, 19-29 Martin Place 02-9223-9006

Sydney City Photoland 102 King Street 02-9221-2296

-> Does this mean I have to re-do my passport photographs since I never did mine with the above 2 photographers?

Also, from the checklist they requested from me in addition to above the passport, visa fee of $350 and express post platinum envelope.

Thanks! :)

The #1 thing is reminding you that you NEED a copy of the DS-3025 and if you didn't get a copy from your panel physician that you can ask for it at interview. It's just a reminder. The DS-3025 has your vaccination list on it.

As a personal recommendation in relation to the medical, ask your panel physician whether or not they will give you a copy of your medical as USCIS commonly gives out RFE's for the medical when you file for AOS saying that they cant find your medical from the K1 (which is total bull) so try and make sure you have a copy so that if you do get that RFE you're not freaking out chasing your tail or have to spend more money get the medical done here in the US. If your physician won't give you a copy perhaps print a thread or two about the medical RFE's when you ask USCIS at your K1 interview if they'll give you a copy for AOS.

I've never seen them recommend the photos so maybe that's a new in case you were unable to find someone to do the US passport size pics they're telling you it's possible to get them done there.

We didn't get our passport pics at either of the two places and it was perfectly fine. :)

I had the same request for the DS-3025 and all I did was ring the doctors office who did the medical for me and they sent me a copy. They don't ask for it at the interview but as Vanessa said you need it here in the states for AOS. The 2 passport pics yes they are to be done downstairs in the food court I again was asked for them too.

You pay for your visa at any post office and keep the receipt. You just ask at the desk you want to pay for a fiance visa K1 and yes you need to take a 15kg platinum express envelope to have your medical papers and visa sent back to you. SO make sure you address it to yourself and they will send everything back to you in this envelope.
