consulate question

I just mailed out my I-129f yesterday...finally...and where it asks what consulate my fiancé will use (she's Russian) I put Ekaterinburg because she lives in Chelyabinsk. Anyway I was looking at the consulate website this morning and it states they don't do fiancé visas...they all hi through the U.S. embassy in Moscow. Will this be a problem and should I do something about this?

if i am not mistaken and someone correct me if I am,

form what I have read it does not seem to be a problem, they automatically correct it to the US Embassy that processes fiance visas

i would also ask in the Russia/Ukraine/Belarus forum to for more advice

not a problem, NVC will correct it and send it to the consulate that has jurisdiction over her current place of residence

I made the same mistake with the consulate in Brasil. They sent it to the correct place without any action on my part.
