I am looking at the next stages of forms, and I-131.

It asks for travel dates and the intstructions ask for reasons to travel. I Have neither, do I still file the I-131 or wait till I need to travel. I dont plan to travel but if something happens to family members in UK, it would be useful to have means of travel.

131 - AP = Advanced Parole is for emergency travel.

If you have no reason to travel you do not have to fill it out. If you are worried about an emergency back home with family, fill it out and get the AP card. If you do not get your Green Card for quite a while and did not file for AP, you could be SOL waiting in the USA for your GC so you can travel, while your family emergency is going on back in your country.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

It is suggested that if you have the dates - enter them, otherwise you can simply put "unknown" or "to be determined" or similar - In your case (K-1 adjusting status) they don't really need the dates/purpose - they'll approve it anyway and for a 1-year period (usually for multiple entries). So that is what I would do if I were you; that way you have it if you need it, otherwise it'll be one more thing for the scrapbook.

The exception to this might be if you needed AP for emergency purposes - in which case it'd be best to not file the I-131 but to bring a completed I-131 to an Infopass appointment where they may approve it right away. (This doesn't apply to you but might for others.)
