Depending on which operator you get, they will tell you it takes either 15 or 20 business days--3 or 4 weeks, so they won't do much of anything to intervene for you yet.

I check their automated voice response every day--9 days so far--but nothing, and I also talk to a real person every few days--I will say this--they are consistent in their answers !!

There is no rhyme or reason why any of us get scheduled when we do, and there isn't anything you can do until you are beyond the standard time, so just keep calling.

Just remember when calling you cannot go about it the same way and get the automatic voice reponse as IR-1/CR-1. K1 is an exception and it won't show up in their system as far as I know. Get to talk to someone there. Sometimes it takes more than a week for it to arrive, other times you'll find out about it after it has left NVC. In that case DOS will have more detailed information on your K1 regarding embassy arrival if you can't find it on the DHL webpage.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days
