CONGRATULATIONS........You are Approved. Now the wait for NVC! keep calling them for your case number.I dont know how long it will arrive at NVC NOW, but when Ray_j and I got approved it was a months wait before they told us petition had arrived and we got our case number. but call everyday after a week and also theres a NVC research site that you can scan your NOA 2 and they find out where case is. Ray_J did that but i didnt, I just waited. its up to you after you receive NOA2 what you want to do? if you need the NVC website to research it Ray_J can give you website! Again, CONGRATULATIONS!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!

I realize now that I forget to post here. I had been avoiding most posting on VJ as it was depressing the hell out of me. On November 3rd Tolga and I got the text and email that our petition was APPROVED!!! It was nuts, I nearly stopped breathing. And it's true, getting that approval changes everything and your demeanor goes from depressed to hopeful again.

So Kat...don't fret girl. You're going to be approved any minute. I'm sure of it. And sometimes that online system doesn't notify you. So, don't lose hope. You are lucky that you get to see your love. And the US and Canada share a friendly border. I only wish Turkey was closer. And you would NOT believe the security between here and there. Makes you feel nervous.

Anyway....May folks still waiting. STAY HOPEFUL! Sucks seeing folks be approved before you that applied 3 months ago. You wanna give a big ole SCREW THEM! But honestly...many folks approved before you may wait MONTHS and MONTHS after you.

I love my May family. And HOT DAMN I'm feeling better. Only 171 days of waiting. They sure like to give a gal a heartattack! lol

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Ive got a question. So the NVC has sent and received the approved application in Moscow. What is the next step? I gave them a call yesterday and they said we have to pay for the Visa upfront using an MRV receipt before we can schedule an interview. Also they said they would send her some information but most of it can already be found online as to what to bring for the interview. I was expecting them to first send packet 3 then set up interview then pay for Visa, then possible approval. Im a bit confused by this very strange order of things. anybody filing in Moscow had the same process or can someone give insight as to whether this is ok? Thanks
