I would suggest going to "Reviews: Embassy" at the top of the page and you can see what the ones who have been through the process in Germany have said about their experience at the embassy. From the looks of it, most of the interviewees had a pretty easy interview, so I wouldn't be too worried about it, although you should still be well prepared.

Frankfurt is one of the most efficient Consulates out there. Four weeks is typical (sometimes more/occasionally less).

If you've already completed your medical - I suppose sitting around waiting is appropriate - Karin (also about 4 weeks to her appointment) kept busy getting ready to move.

Once approved (and there's no reason why you wouldn't be) - the visa should arrive within a few days (depending on mail, holidays etc) so you'll be all set.

You can check out what other VJ members have experienced at Frankfurt Here.

Good luck
