Well my situation was slightly different. I submitted two letter of intends but mine was completely WRONG!

I did not get an RFE thought.

Courious: Did you both not Include a Letter of Intent to Marry within 90 days. I belive it's a requirement in the Original paperwork with your Application.

I'am unsure if other Members avoided a RFE without this document signed by both parties.

Your Filing date is close to ours and no NOA2 yet, but the Letter of Intent was included.

I hope you the best. I would be making every attempt to get from your Fiancee' and yourself before a "posible" RFE for a speedy reply.

My lawyer did all the paperwork for us and neither of us included a letter of intent. I asked my lawyer about this a few weeks ago and he said if anything is needed more they will let us know. Just worried though that they might ask for it on a RFE. Also can a fax or email copy work or does it have to be original?

It would have to be an original signature.

Your lawyer appears not to be fully familiar with what is required. The intent letters are in the instructions.

As Tim/Mav suggested, prepare them now in case you receive an RFE, you will have them ready for a quick reply.

We had a letter of intent done by our lawyer and when completing the paper work for the interview I sent a copy and have a copy for the embassy that we are still prepared to get married within 90 days of my arrival... Hope this helps

We filed in July 10 and the intent letter was signed and sent February 11 so hope this helps this is what the lawyer did for us as a part of the paperwork ....

It will not matter. Sign them on the date you sign them.

So if I have my Fiancee sign and date the letter the intent will it matter much you think if we date it as of like Monday May 9th? I just think it wouldn't matter much to date it as the date she signs it this month.

If I choose not to use the example one they show here it can just be short and to the point correct? Like to: USCIS I intend to marry such and such within 90 days of my arrival in the USA.

You're Lawyer chooses to not admit he/she made a Mistake in the Original 129-F. The Letter of Intent. How many more mistakes?

We trust sometimes in Lawyers to much. I have one too.

Point is: If your Lawyer said; If they need it they will let us know later. So, your Lawyer is saying: Wait for a RFE or maybe they don't need it.

So I guess its probably better to go ahead and send an email filed out for my Fiancee to sign/print/date it and mail it to me so we can have it when asked. It can be written out on a computer and then just printed and signed correct?

The Letter of Intent should consist of each party on separate sheets attesting to Marry within 90 days. It does not matter if the Form is printed or not. BUT, However requires (In your handwriting) a signed and dated Document in INK. You Should have your Attourney send this as fast as posible instead of believeing Attourney #######.

Also, I have seen this, before a RFE even comes on such a simple requirement. Send as soon as posible. Your approval may come faster. Send it before the RFE. As fast as Posible. Your only 2 weeks behind USCIS's goal to get petitions completed in 5 months. Might give you an Edge.

Remember, the Intent letter has to be signed in Ink and not a copy. Have 2 Sent to you.

If your Attourney says No. Not a big deal. FIRE Them.

Additionally, Be sure and send a Copy of the NOA1 along with any information you wish to include.
