Anyone else surprised on how quickly two years has come around? It seems like only yesterday I was here gathering information on the beginning stages.

Or has it passed really slowly for people?

It's gone by soooo fast! I really wasn't ready for it. As I told my husband numerous times over the last 2 years that we should start keeping documents for ROC, and now its here and we're pretty short on evidence. Not really ready for immigration yet, and we just keep pushing it back and getting annoyed about the fee. As for the paperwork, quite easy this time around, I'm sending everything that has both our names on it and have 6 affidavits as we don't have that much. I'm not too worried as we're happily married and living together.

May 8th, 2009 -- EAD & AP Approved (51days)

November 26th, 2012 – Damian Became a US Citizen!!!

I'm not too concerned, either, although we don't have that much. Fortunately I have access to our HR files at work and could easily copy all of our insurance info, and Alex had recently added me to our renters' insurance.

If we hadn't moved in January, we wouldn't have a lease or a mortgage or anything that proved we live together! (We were casually renting previously off a family friend, and we'd never bothered to officially add me to the lease... in retrospect a silly move on our part).

Actually, our lease has five names on - I'm lucky enough to be living with a whole group of guys, not just my husband. That's expensive city living for you - we can only afford a room!

I completely understand. We live with my father, so neither of us are on the lease, so that's one of the affidavits right there, my father explaining and confirming this.

Just hoping for a smooth process for all of us! Best of luck to everyone!

Thanks shefellfromheaven for starting this thread. My Green card expires 7/17/2011 and i got the reminder from USCIS too. So its about time . We are sending our paperworks on 5th too.. we will go through this together !!! :dance::dance:

Filed for AOS . Sent through USPS Priority Express : March 03, 2009
Package Delieverd at USCIS: March 05, 2009
March 13, 2009 : Checks Cashed
March 13, 2009 : NOA 1 received on I-485, I-130, I-765. Dated March 11th, 09
March 17, 2009 : Biometrics Letter recieved (Dated 13th March). Interview on 1st week of April
April 2, 2009 : Biometrics done. Total time taken with wait 20 mins.
April 22, 2009 : Called USCIS. They have received fingerprints and work permit is in process.
May 7, 2009 : I-765 case online. Card Production ordered.
May 11,2009 : EAD card received.
May 12,2009 : Applied for SSN.
May 18,2009 : Received SS card.
June 08,2009 : Received Letter for Interview ( scheduled on July 14 th July )
July 14th : Great Interview. All done in 20 mins.
July 18th: Online status - Card Production ordered. Thank God !! I-130 online status : Pending
July 23rd : Welcome to USA & I-130 approval letter recieved. Online status still shows pending.
July 31st : Received conditional green card
