Hiya,

I forgot to check with you guys. When the courier delivered my visa it came in a blue bag with 2 envelopes and my passport inside. One envelope says not to open and the other that says X-ray is actually not sealed but has selotape on the rim that looks to have been opened very neatly. Is this right?

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

I suspect that the consulate opened the x-ray envelope to look for the x-ray and are just returning it along with your other documentation.

Again don't open the envelope that says "DON'T OPEN" that will be opened by the officer at the point of entry to the USA.

If you have doubts about the X-Ray envelope contact the consulate. Or perhaps someone else on VJ may have a similar experience and share with us.

AFAIK X-ray envelope is never sealed. Just don't open the one that said "DO NOT OPEN" and make sure you take it with you in your carry-on luggage. When you arrive at the POE, you will need to give this "do not open" envelope to the POE officer.
