I applied for K1 visa for my fiance and we sent Packet 3 in March. We did not get Packet 4 in the mail, maybe got lost or something. I have been checking with the embassy's call center at infousdelhi@vfshelpline.com but the bad thing is that they take a week to check with the embassy and get back to you. I sent an email on April 5 and they said the interview date has not been scheduled. I sent another email asking the status of our interview date on April 15. They replied on April 25 that our interview is on May 02 and now we do not have enough time for medical and submitting papers to the nearest VFS as it has to be done 7 days before the interview. What are our option? Get the medical, take the medical receipt and all paper to the interview? and submit the medical report when available to the nearest VFS? Let me know if there are any other options.

This may be your best option. The Embassy might delay issuing the visa until the report is submitted to VFS if that is the rule.

Hey! :star:

Yes that would be your best bet, try and get the doctor to write something nice that states you did the medical, and get as much evidence as you can that you went, and then ask the interviewer where to send it.

do you know how long it will take for your medical to come back? I did my medical, and they had it ready the next day, but I wasnt in too much of a rush so I got them to mail it to me, which took about a week. are you able to pick it up?

good luck!
