My mother filed a I-130 for my 18 year old sister but on Febrery 2011. But so far we have not got the receipt number or what they call priority date. I called USCIS on behalf of my mom but they would not talk to me without her permision. The problem is she is oversease now and she doesn't speak English anyway. Is there any type of form that she can sign for me to be her legal representative.or is there another for me to get information about the case without her presentation? If I was a girl I would act like I her but my voice is very tick and not close to a woman at all.

Thanks

Help please?

The proper way to do this would be to do a three-way call. So, first, get her on the line, then call USCIS and tell them that she is with you on the other line and you can translate for her. They will ask permission from her to speak to you, if she says yes, you are good to go.

a cheaper way would be to contact your senator etc and have them submit a request on her behalf.. i would do that for my mom.. she too is over seas and i will not call her to get things done.. there are ways to do it... we think alike .. you can figure it out
