Questions in NVC

Hi Everyone,

I got my NVC case number. Right after I got my NVC number, I recieved an invoice for AOS fee, in the amount of 88 dollars, and payed.

I sent DS-3032 (choice of agent) form following the payment.

Then I have recieved Package IV fee in the amount of 404 dollars and payed it.

My question is what exactly I will be sending.

Following is the list I have prepared and will be sending asap. Please let me know if I ma missing anything I should have included.

DS 230 part 1 - signed - 2 pages (1,2)

DS 230 part 2 - 2 pages (3,4) part 1 and 2 together.

Form I-134, Affidavit of Support - 2 pages

Form I-864, Affidavit of Support (under section 213A of the act) - 8 pages

My last 3 W-2s.

My recent paychecks

Copy of the marriage certificate

Police record (beneficiaries)

2 passport type pictures

Anything else.

Another very important question. Now as far as I know, I will be sending all these to NVC, but I heard or read it somewhere in the past that, I can also send all these documents to the consular in which the interview will be scheduled, abroad. Can I do that, or can I send it to both places. If I can, is ti helpful, does the consular know anything about my wife's immigrant visa application yet, abroad?

Please let me know as quickly as possible, I really dont want to delay anything and have her get the interview and visa asap.

Thank you all.

The I-864 is known as the Affidavit of Support. It's proof that the petitioner and/or co-sponsors can afford to support the beneficiary. PETITIONER must submit the following:

Bar coded sheet

Cover Letter

I-864 [6] completed & signed by petitioner which is the Main Sponsor

IRS Tax information - 1 year is required, up to 3 years may help.

Tax Transcripts, optional but may help. Call the IRS to get it FREE! 1 (800) 829-1040

W-2s and/or 1099s

1040 from most recent tax year

Pay stubs for current year (6 months should do)

Employment letter showing your income and position.

Make sure that position/title is consistent on all forms.

Co-Sponsor in same HouseHold: I-864A and all Tax information as above

Co-Sponser NOT in same HouseHold: I-864 and all Tax information as above

The petitioner must ALWAYS submit an I-864....even if there's zero income.

FROM BENEFICIARY

Bar Coded Sheet

DS-230 Part I - Signed

DS-230 Part II - Unsigned

Biographic Page of Beneficiary's Passport

Marriage Certificate with English Translation

Birth Certificate

2 x 2 passport size picture

Police Certificate

Divorce Decree (if one of you is divorced from previous marriage)

this is all the papers we sent...goodluck and godbless...

what is barcoded sheed?

I couldn't understand it completely, I read it somewhere?

Are we to print a page woth barcode on it?

is Biographic page of the passport, first couple pages until where the stamps or put on?

Information about person and etc..

And what about the sending place?

Did you just send it to NVC or the consular as well? Or just to NVC and your spouse abroad?

Thank you for your comments.

thank you very much, yes I did ONLINE PAYMENT, I will find that. If I sign back to the online payment page, with the appropriate invoice IDs, I assume I can get there again. Also your payments for AOS and IV payments were also 88, and 404 $. Is this correct?

What comes next after this? Can you give me a quick answer, will the appointment for interview get scheduled right after this?

Thanks.

Suse?

Why don't you look up the information on the Ankara Embassy Official Website? Did you do this already? It lists exactly the required documents for your I-130 (IR-1/CR-1) , and the fee page tells you what to pay for the many different forms.

Your question sounds like you might think every US Embassy in every other country makes us pay various amounts.

Good Luck!

Well, the fee paying is only part of it. Have you sent in the appropriate forms and supporting documentation? If not, well.. you still have to do that. Once NVC has all your documentation, keep checking the AVR and/or speak to an operator to see if you have a case complete, at which point they'll send it to the embassy and schedule the appointment.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.
