Hello,

Could anyone please tell me or point me to the right USCIS link about;

Parent of a USC planning to adjust status from B2 has an Indian birth certificate with incomplete data and some errors.

In practice, what is the USCIS policy in such cases?

You would obtain a correct(ed) birth certificate from the issuing authority.

said parent could return to india and immigrate the honorable way, rather than trying to adjust from B2. plenty of time to fix the BC while in home country.

Thanks. But she has a legitimate reason for adjusting from B2. She is in her seventies, severly disabled and undergoing medical treatment in US.
