I received my RFE on April 12. I respond to the RFE on April 15. USCIS then notifies me that they received my RFE response on April 14. WHAT? Is this strange, or what? On April 5,prior to receiving my RFE, I sent in all the documents and supporting evidence that I thought were missing in my original filing (around 75 pages). USCIS received it April 8. Do you think the packet that I sent April 5 is the RFE Response they are talking about? I made many statements in bold print that the mailing was not a result of an RFE. Either way, the CSC stated in the email that they are reviewing the RFE Response and they will notify me of the final decision. Still very confused though!!!

Very strange...do you think they may be using the documents you sent in knowing they were missing as the new RFE package they needed? Instead of waiting for your *actual* RFE package? That's almost what it sounds like....? :blink:

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

9/19/15 POE Charlotte

Sounds like they took the info you sent first and used it. Hopefully it contained what they needed to get it complete. Does the RFE

have a reference number in the letter so when you mailed back the requested info they can match it to the file? I have an RFE letter

in route to me as of today.

Visa K1 Journey

02-21-10 met online

04-13-10 visit for 21 days in Philippines

08-14-10 visit for 3 months in Philippines

11-01-10 filed K-1

11-06-10 NOA1 received

04-19-11 RFE received

04-21-11 RFE returned

05-04-11 NOA2

05-11-11 Received at NVC, case number assigned

05-13-11 Left NVC to the USEM

06-01-11 Set up interview with embassy

07-21-11 Approved!... with an additional document she needs to aquire.

You should've sent them anything before they request it, but i think it will work out, now they will sort everything you sent them and will review it and notify you with their decision
