I received a RFE last week, it was kind of stressful waiting for the hard copy to arrive so that I would know what they wanted  turned out to be that I sent the wrong document for my divorce, no big deal. But waiting 5 days, not knowing, wow that sucked!!

Well I went thru all my copies and I cannot think of anything I missed...hmmm... but it could be because this is my 3rd k1 app since 1999, first one was approved and marriage broke up. 2nd one was approved but it was never acted upon by me after that and she never came here. Now this one. The last one was in 2005 and when it was approved, I never did anything else with it..I never sent any letters of withdraw or anything else and I just assumed it would time out and be closed. I think back then it was the INS and operated differently. I never received any other info about it.

I also think I am going to have to write a waiver, which when I sent it I failed to do because I did not read the instructions all the way thru.

It sounds like its probably the Waiver that you need to write, but you'll find out with the letter. They don't keep track of approved petitions yet, as far as I know. Good luck!
