I've read and been told that letters from family and friends that have seen the two of you together and know of your relationship is good evidence to have as part of your packet at the interview.

What do you think of the following letter, is it sufficient or should there be more details or any comments you might have about it.

This statement is regarding the meeting of Beneficiary and my friend Petitioner.

I was in Santiago de Cuba in December of xxxx visiting my mother when B and P met.

We were in Cuba at the same time again in xxxxx when P and B lived together in the legal casa of my friend, S.C, for the month of July, xxxx.

I attest to their ongoing relationship and to the love they have for each other.

The letter is not really needed. Proof from the P/B is better of a ongoing relationship. You are far into the process. I'm sure that having as much evidence as you can would seem like a Plus to the Consulate. It does not hurt to add as much as posible though. Be sure you know the difference between an affidavit and a Sworn Affidavit which would require a Notory and signed. I don't think you need this letter(s) at all. That was all covered in your 129-F Application. Again, proof of an existing relationship between you and your fiance (not friend) is what they will be looking for. Not papers from John Doe attesting to your ongoing relationship.

I asked for feedback on the letter itself. Thank you to R and F for emailing me some examples. I probably should not have used the word affidavit, I am not going to have them notarized, the ones in Spanish will be translated and attested they are a truthful translation. There is no need from what I've heard to have them notarized.

Hi Rose, I can't find the samples in my email anymore, sorry! But no, I don't think it made a difference (I included one letter) because I had so much other proof.
