Well its been a long and storied journey, and Ive got a few more grey hairs than I did when I started this as does my wife, but its finally over in a way. My daughter had her visa interview yesterday and was approved. She's only 6. But when the consular asked her where she was going, she said ...."daddys house" my wife said. That made me smile harder than I have in a long while. Thanks to everyone that has ever given me advice on these forums, this website is invaluable and for those who are just starting the process, believe you me there are some very knowledgeble people on here. Advice that I would have paid hundreds of dollars to get, I got from some kind, some not so kind, and some brutally frank individuals on here. I needed it all, some of it was inspiration, and much of it led me down the right path when I didnt know what the heck to do. June 5th they both arrive in washington d.c. where i will be picking them up, and then we will head down south for some southern hospitality with my family, and then over to Hawaii to as my daughter said, "daddys house", but now its our house!!! Hang in there people, your gonna cry, your gonna curse, and your gonna come close to loosing your sanity, but the race is not won by the swift nor the strong, but he who endureth to the end. Peace be to you all. And thanks again!!!
