I need to submit the packet for removing conditions and we had no idea that there are so many things to do. We just thought that we need to submit I751 and that's it.

So, I started putting things together....

I made copied of the paperwork with filing taxes for the last three years, but I read on the forum that we need the tax trasncripts. which paper work is better?

Also, for the health insurance? What kind of proof do we need to show that my husband and I are both beneficiaries?some kind of letter?

thanks

DeltaAlpha,

I think copies of tax return should work as long as it is signed/dated copy. If you're not in a rush to send the packet, then you can order free tax transcript (details here). Ideally, tax transcript is more accurate version of tax return copy.

Also, for health insurance, we sent copies of hour health insurance cards and one or two claims that were processed which showed I was the employee or guarantor and my husband is a member.

For beneficiary stuff, I had kept the copy of paperwork I filed to add my husband as beneficiary, so I sent those. For 401k, we got a letter from my husband company stating me as beneficiary.

You just want to submit important documents that show that you and your husband are still together. I printed off a document from CareFirst insurance showing me and then my husband listed as beneficiary of the insurance. Investment paperwork shows that he is the 100% beneficiary. Car insurance shows that we're both on the document, house deed shows both of our names, electric bill shows both our names, etc.

Hope that helps!

thanks for the responses. My street addressed is misspelled in the driving licence, so I am wondering is I should change it before we submit the paperwork.

Also the house title says that we reside in a Parish that we do not reside in...they said that they have to put another parish because this is where their main office is located. To me, it sounds erronated info...but I gave up arguing with them so we left it like that...so again I am wondering if we should/should not submit a copy of that.

in the sam house title paperwork, my name is not really my name. after I got married I kept my original middle name but I got rid of my maiden last name. But in the contract they put first name+maiden name+married last name. they said that this is how they have to use it in their paperwork...

Do you guys think I should correct all these papers before I submit copies?

Thanks

Ida
