How long from NVC to Consulate?

Just got off the phone with the NVC.My K -1 Fiance visa was apporoved on March 24,2011.It was sent off to the NVC on the 26th.They told me on the phone there is a wait time for acceptance,Is that normal? There is how ever a case number now, so we are slowly making progress.Please feel free to comment.

1-2 weeks USCIS - NVC

2-4 weeks at NVC then shipped to consulate

Our Packet was received by the NVC on March 31,2011 and sent to Embassy in Manila on April 4,2011. Th operator I spoke with at NVC told me it takes about 3 days to get from NVC to the Embassy in Manila. I was told is is sent via DHL shipping. I`m sure it takes about the same amount of time when shipping to Thailand.

I guess is depend what country are you from because i called and they told me i have to wait from 2 to 3 week

I have been told my case was sent on August 23, to Embassy. I will give them a call Sunday to see if they get the case.

My case is I130 and I submit all documents here at USA.
