I have an urgent question:

I have a case of a joint sponsor : The joint sponsor is a friend of mine and she is married and she is filling taxes jointly with her husband! She is confused what numbers to put in the I_134 form (section 7 of the form)! (her income amount or both "her and her husband income")! her husband is retired and he has his own income.

and if she put only her own income is the husband is going to show up under section 8 of the form as depending of her support?

Thanks in advance.

The joint sponsor uses their income only when completing the form I-134. Their income must be enough to cover their household plus the intending immigrant. The husband would be included in the household count and listed on the I-34.

I also had a co-sponsor who filed jointly with spouse. They only fill out one I-134. Their is a place on the form where he/she would add their spouse's name and only the co-sponsor signs the document.

Thanks for answering my question!

Can u please tell me which section of the form they can add the spouse's name!

Do they put both incomes or only the joint-sponsor income only?

What are the documents that need to be joint to the i-134 form? should be original doc or just copies?

Thanks ?

The I-134 does not allow for combining incomes. The I-864 does.

If you are required to submit an I-134 then only one person's income is considered and that person must have individual income and/or assets that satisfy the requirement.
