Today, I am now 200 days in from the time I got my NOA1 (September 2). Who else is in my boat? Any others out there wait this long? I have a service request in that I made last Wednesday. They told me I'll hear back about it in the next 30 days. I've been following Igor's list from the beginning, but I don't know how many people there are really still waiting and who abandonded the website.

We are approaching that time too. Our NOA1 was September 21. I've often wondered about the old cases on Igor's list. Does the list ever get purged?

I got a response to my service request today. They have the wrong date listed as my filing date. My NOA1 clearly says Sept. 2, 2010. I remember getting it in the beginning of September. I have the form they sent me to prove it. According to the response, my filing date is listed at the VSC as Oct. 1, 2010. What the heck? Then they told me to wait for the normal processing time to clear. This is absurd! There is no information in my e-mail about who I can contact to dispute the wrong date in their computer system. This is exactly why we need to be able to access our information. It's my worst fear come true, that they have something screwed up and there's no wy to check on it. What am I supposed to do? I'm on my last leg. I can't do this anymore. Something has got to give. We've been apart now for 8.5 months.

Have you tried contacting your congressman? It sounds like since USCIS made an error they would be more likely to intervene.

My fiance and I were fortunate enough to receive our NOA2, but his congresswoman was extremely helpful in providing us with information in regards to the status of our petition.

All the best.
