Hi i WANT to file for green card of parents and needed help.from what i understand the first step is i 130.plz add if i am missing anything.my birth certificate,my marriage certificate to show change of name,their marriage cert.their passport copies,and the fees.there is no mention of photos.dont we need to send any pics att his time.

also they r not in theusa at this time.

any idea how long the process will take.

also dont we need their signatures anywhere in the form.

You do not need to send in photos to prove relationship.. that's for the spousal categories etc. They do not need to sign the form however you are required to sign the form if someone helped you then they too should fill in the designated area on the form.

thanks a lot for ue replies. so we dont need any passport size pics for them at this point. also does it take longer if they r living outsid

e the usa. can they visit in between though

it's actually quicker when outside the USA. They can visit while the petition is pending however should travel with the necessary documents showing ties to their countries just in case the "intent" to return to their country is questioned.
