Hello,

The barcode is not generating when printing the DS-156. It prints 'barcode'. I am using Max OS X and I have downloaded the updated .pdf form with a 5/31/11 expire date...I have adobe reader 9. Please Help! Thanks!

Some people had trouble because the document had timed out. How long has it been open? You may have to close, reopen, start over.

Great Idea! It had been open for days, haha! I closed, opened, filled out again and it still says 'barcode'. :(

It is doing this because you downloaded the form. Fill it out directly from a live internet link and it should work fine...like from your embassy site.

You know, I'm on a MacBook with Safari, but another user suggested that the form only seems to really print properly with Internet Explorer so I didn't even try it on my computer. I ended up doing both the digital forms (the 156K and the 160?) at work... maybe try changing browsers?

It should work with any browser. You must click on the 'continue' button at the bottom of the page to get a completed PDF file with bar codes.
