What gets me is, most of these people (and myself included) are living better than our parents or grand parents did at our age and these protesters act like someone has ripped them off.. like someone has stolen their American dream.

I have two people in my family who think just like this crowd does and it boils down to Jealousy in both their cases... and I bet it's true for most of these folks.

I'm all for making sure the rich pay their fair share, but bankers or rich people don't owe me a living or anything else.

I think that is where the resentment comes from - the 'fair share' concept. At what point, after using how many lobbyist-introduced tax code loopholes, can one say that they are no longer paying their 'fair share'? Like it or not, people like you and I don't have lobbyists in Congress introducing loopholes tailor-made for us. So in a way, they do have a huge advantage over us. It's hardly a level playing field.

All that said, I completely disagree with shutting a bank branch down in the middle of the day. It's disruptive and accomplishes nothing.
