Proof of marriage

Hi everybody,

My usc wife just filed I 130 and we are trying to prepare everything in advance to expedite the process.

She will be go back to the states before my interview 'cause kids start school.

We have been married for almost 6 years and we have two sons, do I have to bring some type of proof apart the marriage

certificate alread sent along with the I130?

I read in this blog that some people brings photo album etc.

Is that necessary after so many years of marriage?

Do they accept some digital pics on my iphone? :)

AlexFlorida2010 please fill out your timeline so we can give you specific information. What country, filing dates, ect. This would be most helpful to those who respond. At least you are eligible for a 10 year green card since you have been married to a USC for over 2 years. Not sure but later in the process you would request it. Best of luck

We can definitely answer your questions further if you provide more info. I imagine in your case proof of living together, joint finances etc would suffice, however with certain countries it is better to have as much evidence as possible.

As I recall, this is a DCF case from Italy. Please update your profile and if filing directly with a Consulate, ask your questions in the DCF forum. No, you won't be taking your IPhone to the interview. They don't allow cell phones in the interview. The birth certificates for your children and some evidence of living together in Italy would be good as well as some photos printed several to a page on plain paper if you like.
