CSC K-1 NOA-2 timing

I am frustrated and confused. I know that VJ just has a sample of the total petitions, and all, but today shows 10/10 NOA2s being processed. The time for CSC has gone down sharply to 137 days. That's great! Except, has anyone other than us October filers noticed that the dates are going down because the approvals are coming in on January and February NOA1 filers? Someone talk me down. I want to be happy for them, but I am going nowhere on Igor's list, nor are my 10/1+ UK buddies. They should be scheduling at Knightsbridge by now. What's going on? Talk me down senior members. :crying:

Igor's list is confusing me too. I don't see October 2010 K1 filers being approved. I don't see the list growing. It's still the same 3 couples there. What's happening?

I have two thoughts on the issue:

1. Someone just grabbed one wrong box of cases (really, the cases you see in late Jan/Early Feb are clumped pretty close together).

2. They are seeing themselves get close to the 5-month 'average' and want to tweek their numbers. By approving a few recent petitions, they can let other petitions wait longer and still be meeting a 5-month average.

I don't think we can ever really know for sure.

I agree with Twocats its probably one or the other but they could be on a bonus if they keep the yearly figures to or under 5 months you never know!!!. I'll just wait for my 5 months to be up then start harrasing them.

I'm with you on this: I am happy for the folks with 2-3 month approvals, BUT what is going on here? As a former federal employee, I can assure you there are NO bonus $ at stake for team performance (at least not in Dept. of Veteran's Affairs where I worked).

I have no problem waiting my turn for 5 months for a chore that likley takes 15-30 minutes for most cases, but when others are processed ahead of time, that seems unfair. Yah, I know "life isn't fair". Just sayin'...

Our NOA1 date is October 2nd and it is frustrating to see no movement at the moment. I know that Monday was a holiday for government workers, but why has so little changed this week? I was excited when a number of couples with September 27th/28th dates were approved, but why is it taking them so long to move on to October? I would be happy if I were the January/February couples, but it is only pushing other people's times out further who filed further back...sigh...

Or they may have hired new employees and grabbed a random box to use for training purposes! :)
