I have a master degree, and I was wondering if I will need to translate it even if it is a college degree and that there are master degrees in US too.

I thought I would just have to translate the language for them to understand what it is about (french to english) and explain them which classes I got, but that it would have the same value than an american master degree.

any opinion?

depends on what the use is for... most employers won't care... if applying to school or you have a profession that requires US certification or state licensing then they may....

YMMV

Why don't you just put it in your resume and call it a day?

For example....

Educational Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Accounting from University of Bordeaux

India, gun buyback and steamroll.
