Finally got our NOA1 this Sat! Woohoo! Hope NOA2 arrives soon. :)

I was backreading forums and saw this post......did anybody of you already started working on the requirements while waiting? I've read that Police Clearance should be few weeks before interview... but I already have mine just got it yesterday since I ca;;ed off work and tried to be productive and proactive at the same time huh.gif now I'm planning to get my Cenomar soon is this advisable now? I've been checking Igor's timeline and CSC's approving Jan Fillers..... thanks peeps in advancestar_smile.gif

Barn and Cean -> i'm actually planning to take a few days off from work 2nd week of May to work on some of the requirements like NBI, police, CENOMAR, pictures etc. If CSC will continue with the pace they are right now, some Feb filers might be approved this month (May and mostly June). Keeping my fingers crossed! Anyhow, I want to be as pro-active and productive as possible, but I also want my documents to be new.

Btw, just throwing it out there. I've lived most of my life in the province, I've been living here in Manila the past 8 years. Do I need to get police clearances from my hometown in Bicol and the other city where I lived after 16 yrs? Or the one from Manila will suffice? Thanks in advance!

I've lived most of my life in the province, I've been living here in Manila the past 8 years. Do I need to get police clearances from my hometown in Bicol and the other city where I lived after 16 yrs? Or the one from Manila will suffice? Thanks in advance!

You don't need a local police clearance for places you've lived in 'Pinas.

The only police clearances you would need would be those from other countries where you've lived for more than six months.

Thanks Tahoma! I think, I've read somewhere here that some beneficiary even go back to their provinces to get a copy of their police clearances even if they're now living here in Manila. :)

Walang anuman, lovelyjoy. :)

Chinook got a local police clearance from her hometown in the province, but it's not required and she did not need it during her interview. However, you will definitely need your NBI clearance.

I would get everything you need for the interview in Manila. That way if you have some type of paperwork or NSO or NBI issue you will have time to get it corrected.

Be aggressive don't be passive when dealing with an issue this important.....
