Before I send my K-1 petition in, I just want to make sure I have everything correct.

A "copy" of my divorce decree is sufficient? I.e. It doesn't need to be a copy certified by anyone within the last 30 days correct? In fact, can I send them a "copy" of the certified divorce decree or do you think they will require one with the indented seal (thus a "certified copy" as opposed to a copy of the certified copy). If a certified copy is required, do they have any quirky rules I may not be aware of.. such as Certified in the last 30 or 60 days?

Just trying to prevent an RFE

Thanks

I sent in a copy of my certified and had no problems....it was 10 yrs old. I have seen RFE's on here for no Judge signature.

For UK divorce certificate, we got NOA2 with no judge signature, just plain copy of the original document with the stamp of the court.
