Hi,

My I-485 was transferred to CSC on Feb 04 and i got notice in the mail. Today the case status online says "The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office.".

Is this gonna delay the process or this is normal for the cases transferred to CSC?

Please help.

No. I have not received bio letter yet. I called them and they said it will take 4 more weeks to get my bio letter. My NOA date is Jan 18th so i should have received the bio letter by now (Comparing with other people who applied in Jan).

This is the same thing that my husband and I saw on our case status. I am the USC, and we sent my husband's AOS on Dec 3, 2010. We got our NOA on Dec 10, and his bio appointment was Jan 7. On Feb 4 our case was sent to CSC, and then on Feb 11 we saw that it was sent to a USCIS office.

Any opinions would be appreciated! :)

When did you apply for your EAD? They generally get approved within 3 months.

I received my Bio on 15th Feb. Waited for almost a month and was told over the phone that i may take 2 months. I am hoping to get EAD by March end. Not working for 5 months is really a pain.

You received your letter for your bio on the 15th? If so, what date is your appointment for?

2 months seems excessive. I went in for my bio appointment and then had the EAD card in my hand within 2 weeks.

We seem to have a similar set of circumstances. We received our AOS (NOA1) On January 05, 2011. Have not seen any Bio letter as of yet. However, we got a transfer notice on February 08, 2011, that our I-485 case would be transferred to CSC. It’s been 43 days since our NOA1 and no Bio letter to set an appointment. If the average of the completed EAD is 77 days, it would seem as though we should have received a Bio letter by now. We have yet to call, just waiting to see if the GC will beat the EAD.
