I-864 & I-864A Questions

I need a co-sponsor and my sister will do this for us. My Fiance and I will be living with her for a period of time, until we find jobs, so we are using her address as our home address. Let me also clarify that I have liquid assests above the poverty level for 3 years. So we are using the Co-Sponsor hopefully only as a back up to my fianacial support. So let me ask you all if I have the right information. She will fill out the I-864A and I will fill out an I-864. We will both submit I-134 also, is this correct? My Sister and her Husband file Joint ITR's and also have joint bank accts. Does my brother-in-law have to fill out any forms? If my sister makes well over the poverty limit for the 4 of us living in the house does she have to put his salary on the form? This gets confusing to me because of the joint ITR. Also does she have to show bank acct. if she earns well over the poverty level?

Usually i-134 is what is asked for for k1, and not i-864.. but if you will go for i-864 and i-864a then I would assume there is no longer any need for i-134... maybe someone can confirm or refute this I just think its redundant to do both?

For a k-1 it is only the I-134...manila embassy doesnt normally allow a co-sponsor even though there is nothing against it.

Correct. Even though it's not standard operating procedure, that's exactly what I would do.

If I remember correctly, only your sister's income is used on the I-134. On the I-864, both your sister's income and her husband's income can be used, but I don't think it's required to use both of their incomes on the I-864.

If your sister's income is well over 125% of the poverty line for her household size, it's not necessary for her to submit a bank statement.
