Ummm.. to be quite honest, I have no clue how to use Igors list... But you have to think that not everyone immigrating knows about this site... I only just found out this year after 3 months of not knowing anything..... It will get better Al, but they do need a kick in the ####### sometimes to get moving.... we all do....

Maybe you should. This pathetic excuse for a government office is screwing all of us royally. And Igor's list is our only window into what they are doing.

Our NOA1 is from Aug. 27. I had a friend who works for a congressman call on my behalf once and I have personally called twice. My friend was told that because of the holidays, December did not "count" toward the 5 months projection and to expect something in Feb. I personally called about two weeks ago and was told that if I did not get an answer by Feb. 27, I should place a service request. Since I'm so patient (wink) I called again yesterday and was told that a service request was untimely because I was within the 5 month projection and that I should wait two months before I call again and ask for a service request. However I see that Vermont filers around my NOA1 date are being approved these days. I hope we all get a reply really soon or I'm gonna have to call my good friend Barack to expedite things LOL! Let's hang in there, hopefully we will be able to show our fiance(e)s what a great celebration is the Fourth of July for us.

It might be a good idea to actually wait until the day is over before claiming that the service center did zero approvals. People trickle in to VJ at different times and not everyone spends their entire day here, or rushes to update their status the moment they get an e-mail.

There's now one approval for 02-10-2011.

Not much, but more than zero, certainly.

It is not just the lack of approvals on Igor's list that is troubling. It is the lies being told to callers. I read these, and I don't like what I see. The first level people are bad liars, and the second level are good liars, but they are all liars, and the lies are all calculated towards one objective: To get us to go away for as long as possible to maximize the time they have to think of other lies.

It would be much better, for them as well as for us, to tell us the truth, but that requires sensible decision makers, something the Vermont Disservice Center can only dream about having.

Did you have any luck calling?

I called Monday 2/7 and Thrusday 2/10 and got the same answer. They are working on 7/24 filing. I am giving up calling. I will get it when I get it

I received my NOA1 August 6, 2010 and my case was last touched on October 3, 2010 and as of today nothing has happened. Is there anyone else still waiting or am i the only one? Waiting for such a long time makes me feel like i am the only one and the whole process is getting really frustrating.

you are not alone.. we are from Aug. 26th and everytime I call and speak to the Tier 2 they assure me no problems., no RFE's and should be anytime.. since an officer has been assigned to it. We were touched once on 9/01/2010 and not since.. is he/she just sitting on it? The last person assured me if we were going to get an RFE would of been long ago but yet I see some from that timeframe and they have gotten them. Wish they could just be truthful..I also put in a service request and they said they had not heard back to wait a month and if they still don't hear I could put another one in.. what to wait another month.. I can sympathize with you I know exactly how you are feeling...but they will not break us we will not give up..I told them I wish they knew how we all felt sitting here...feeling helpless and hopeless...bet it would be quick if they were appylying!

Still no NOA2 for me either. My NOA was Sep 27, so still nothing. Im not outside the 5 month, but you are you should call.

I got my NOA1 on september 27 also. Let me know if anything happens for you.

Also My fiance didnt send in any evidence what so ever. It wasnt until I found Visajourney I was told you are apparently supposed to. I guess we will get a big RFE. ALthough they already have a lot of information about me in their database. They have accused me of working without workpermit and that I called my boyfriend a fiance when he still was just my boyfriend. Which apparently is very bad to do. Even though I have not worked or called him my fiance when he wasnt. it was the customs guy who said it when he stamped my passport and I didnt correct him.

They are lying to you, plain and simple. Your normal processing time ended January 6, and you are entitled to that service request.

For these past two weeks, output has been gradually declining, and today it has come to a complete halt.

It is eminently clear that the Vermont Disservice Center is planning another massive obscene stunt like the one they pulled last October 3. All the refusals to do their job and all the boldfaced lies cannot mean anything else.

Wonder how many months this one will last? 3? 4? More?

First make sure you are logged in. Then click on Immigration Timelines on the main menu, then edit/add timeline. Once you fill in your data, you should appear (give maybe a couple of hours for the database to update). We are listed in order of our NOA1.

Being assigned to an officer is actually good news (assuming they are not lying). It means that your file is in a box on an adjudicator's desk and no longer in the general file area.

Igor's List is the best windows into the secretive world of USCIS. It is not 100% accurate since it is only us and not the 95% who don't use us, but for our purposes, it is good enough for a general idea of how USCIS is doing (and it will have to do because that is all we get).

Sorry for the anger, folks, but this is just too much. I take my responsibilities to my lady seriously, including the one to protect her from all harm, yet I am powerless to stop my own government from harming her every day. It makes me furious, and it is not something I can just turn off with a switch.

does it say number 155 when you look? cause i see it as 228. and how come the todays date is there too. Or is is just accidentally pasted there. cant believe when i look at igors list some couples got approved after only 2-3 months.

scroll down to the bottom and you see couples have gotten approved after one month. I know this doesnt help us who are waiting but I sooo want to get how this all works.
