Filing 129F after recieving I-130 NOA1 3 months ago

I decided to file I-129F since I heard it's faster. I already got my I-130 NOA1 in the mail on November 7 can I still file the I-129F right now or should I wait and do it the long way?

Did you also hear that NVC will close the I129F when it is recieved with the approved I130?

The days of the k3 being faster are long gone, this used to be the case years ago but not anymore. The K-3 is obsolete

You can call USCIS to inquire about a K3 via the I129F and they will say you can send it. However, it is closed by NVC

USCIS WILL tie the I-130 and I-129F together and approve on same date, then NVC WILL close the I-129F and proceed on with the CR-1.

Forget the K-3, improved processing at USCIS and NVC have eliminated it.

K-3 served only one function, it was derived at a time when I-130 was taking years to get approved, however now since I-130 is approved at same time as I-129F the function of K-3 (Entry to USA and WAITING for I-130 approval) no longer exists, so NVC kills the K-3 in favor of the superior CR-1 or IR-1 visa.

Ty I will now just continue waiting for my I-130 NOA2 and just go through the CR-1

Excellent idea. The I-129F actually slows down the I-130. Lots of people on this board wish they never filed the I-129F because it delayed their case for weeks. Don't be that person

yeah if you file the I-129F it will actually slow your process down. You are on the right track and the CR-1 is better anyway.
