whats the average iterview wait time

i cant find many people that have booked interviews at london recently.....so if anyone has booked it recently, how long does it take from london getting your petition to you haveing ur interview?

and whats the process of getting there?

visa journey isnt much help on this part of things. and id like some help from people who are also using london.

I got my packet 3 physically on 7th Jan had my medical on 5th jan had my date given to me on jan 19th for feb 16th

You dont book an interview they give you one. As soon as you get LND number get your medical sorted, get all docs for packet 3 and ds 2001 checklist done and send it in. It took us 7 weeksfrom packet 3 to interview, and pay the fee on the expensive phone line

Lots of drop-downs so here's how to find recently scheduled interviews so you can study their timelines.

Visa: K1

Embassy: London

Simple or Detailed results: Detailed (that's right under Embassy)

Everything else at the top just says ALL

Now scroll down to the bottom of all those fields to Visa Interview Date' Date range (Leave both blank for all dates)

So if you want to know just interviews scheduled (for example) since December

Put in under START 2010-12-01 and leave END blank.

Choose the maximum number of results, then click [Find Entries]

You get about a dozen of the London interviews from just two months back. Want more? Back out your start date to Sept, which is still recent history, and you'll get 50 people to study. Copy and paste into excel and go crazy manipulating data.

My fiance just had his medical yesterday the 3rd. When we receive the letter with his interview date, I'll let you know. I was curious about the same thing. It seems some people are getting their interview dates rather quickly while some seem to be waiting two months or so between medicals and interviews.

medical was jan 18th, and interview will be feb 18th
