USPS- Delivery Confirmation on all mail!

This really applies to everyone, not just K1 people, but we didn't know where to put it. Anyway, we wanted to offer the advice to everyone to pay the extra dollar to get delivery confirmation on all mail you send for this process. They put a barcode on your package and your postage receipt has a number so you can track the package online. We are so glad we did this, because we just sent in our evidence for an RFE and while tracking our package, saw that it had gone to New York instead of California. The CSC PO Box in the address got picked up as the zip code somehow, so our letter went to zip code 10590 instead of PO Box 10590 at CSC. I have called USPS, and they are looking for our package. Now, between getting sent to the opposite side of the country from where it should be and the fact that there was a blizzard that it got stuck in on the way (which would not have happened if it went west like it was supposed to) we are set back another week. Agh! So track your mail, because ours would still be riding around in NY right now and we would have called CSC insisting that we sent it priority mail for delivery on Wednesday and been mad at them for losing it. As it is, we are at least getting something done about it.

If I was sending documents of such importance, I would use Fedex or UPS. I've had the post office not scan the delivery confirmation bar codes for packages I've mailed. So it still shows as being in transit. But then I get a thank you from my friends or feedback if I've sold something. So I know the package got there. Yet the label shows that it was never delivered.

using Fedex/Ups just creates problems/delaya. They can't deliver to PO Boxes.
