I'm confused to by the post. If California Service Center to NVC you should have your NOA2. If this is true, you are on your way. What seemed so long to get will start coming fast. Other members correct me if I'm wrong, but the medical is the next move and all clearance hereunto the Countries guildlines under USCIS Policy. If you have a NOA2 you must schedule a Medical Exam and pre-pay that exspense. They should supply that information but don't count on that. Again, I did'nt think the post was quit clear to give "Only my" best answer. Good luck !

Thank you, folks! I saw the flow-chart before. However, I am trying to figure out what to expect. I have received NOA2 and called NVC. NVC said that they have sent package to Moscow embassy on January 31st and that embassy should receive it by now. I called embassy and the embassy said that it takes a month to arrive and that NVC sends documents via regular mail while NVC states that they send documents via DHL. Nuts! Should I expect to be contacted (USC)? My fiancee? What are the next documents that I or she should receive? Flow chart does not specify. I am just trying to make sure that there is no delay in interview scheduling so I am trying to nail-down possible bottle-necks.

It's really hard for most of us to specifically answer your question as we all deal with different consulates. It would be best if you asked such a specific question in the Russia-Ukraine-Belarus forum. Should you need specific information regarding the status of your petition (i.e. whether received or when received), I have found that information available from the Department of State. Their number is 202 663-1225. Since you cannot access K-1 visa information from the automated menus, you will need to press "1" and then "0" to speak to a Visa Specialist.

Good Luck!!!

NVC will send your packet to the embassy in Moscow and will send you a notice with your case # on it. Your case number will look like MOSxxxxxxx. The embassy will send a packet to your fiancee at the address you provided on the I129-F. This packet will include some documents that she will need to fill out and bring to the embassy on the day of her interview, as well as the date and time her interview is scheduled. There will be some other information provided in the packet but I'm not sure of the specifics. She will not need to send this to anyone but simply bring it with her on the day of the interview. There is no packet 4 for Russia.

You might also be able to obtain information about your interview date by emailing the embassy at consulMo@state.gov . The embassy used to have a website where you could check to see when the interview was scheduled by referencing your case # but that site was moved and now it's no longer available. Perhaps they moved it again and didn't tell anyone. Maybe you can ask when you email them.

Also, I know there is a way to track your packet from NVC to the embassy via DHL tracking. I will try to find that info for you.
