The economy will flat line, oil will tank and then slowly rise again over a few years only to spike again and repeat. After 2 or 3 more of these events the industrial world will fall. Is that enough fall-out? Drilling won't do much because it won't be enough to replace the coming decline of production and the demand of recoveries.
