Are there any stats on VJ to show if it takes less time for the AOS to be approved if you are filing from a K1 visa? Since the K1/K3 visa process is pretty extensive-

Also, is there a spot on VJ that lists the stats on the odds of going to an interview if you are coming from a K1 or K3 visa?

Lastly, are there stats on VJ comparing those people that used a lawyer vs. those that filed on their own??

Just wondering......

Thanks:)

Remember that these statistics or processing times on here are only an approximate. This is not USCIS or one of the service centers. It is a site to guide and help with questions on immigration processing per the knowledge and experience of others. To me it is just a waiting game for all of us. Those that of course take a longer time than usual would ring or email to see what is happening. I also am waiting AOS but am just waiting as it is not quite 3 months yet but I know mine has been transferred to CSC.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

Timelines..

There is a filter so that you can check from what visa type adjusting from.

Using this filter you can see that K-1's on many cases get AOS approval without interview, however K-3's always get interviewed.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Moved from AOS forum to Site Discussion as the topic relates to site aspects rather than AOS concerns.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
