well..i was wondering comments from all guys regarding Case Completion and Sign-In Fail. My question is that what happens first Case Complete or Sign-In Failed ????

If case complete happens first and SIF later, what to expect next ????

R we listed on Documentary Qualified Applicants list or NVC is planning to schedule our Interview ?????

November 14 2013 I-130 Sent to Chicago Lockbox


November 15 2013 I-130 Received at Chicago Lockbox Facility


November 18 2013 Email from USCIS about Petition Acceptance (PD Nov 15 2013)


November 19 2013 I 797 NOA 1 received by mail


March 24 2015 Received E Mail and Text Notification about Case transfer to another USCIS Office


March 28 2015 Received Hard copy of Transfer Notice from USCIS


March 31 2015 Case Approved by USCIS


April 1 2015 Received Email and Text message for Case Approval


April 4 2015 Received Hard Copy of NOA2 from USCIS



NVC STAGE


April 16 2015 Case received at NVC


April 24 2015 Case Number and IIN received on Call


April 27 2015 Paid AOS Fees and Submitted DS-261


April 29 2015 Welcome Letter from NVC in Email


May 05 2015 DS-261 reviewed over phone


May 06 2015 AOS & Civil Documents sent to NVC


May 07 2015 Documents received at NVC


May 08 2015 Email from NVC to pay IV Fees


June 08 2015 IV PAID


June 10 2015 Submitted DS-260


July 13 2015 Case Completed


July 29 2015 Finally....Got Interview Date


Sep 18 2015 Interview (Approved)

Well I'd say technically Case Completion comes first as the processing agent has to close/update the case so that SIF can occur. Most people get SIF first because they often times try to log into the portal before calling since it's 24/hrs.

Nov 17 2011 - COA / I-864 received

Apr 30 2012 - Pay AOS fee
Oct 15 2012 - Pay IV fee
Oct 25 2012 - Sent AOS/IV Package
Oct 29 2012 - Pkg Delivered
Dec 24 2012 - Case Complete
May 17 2013 - Interview-Approved

July 19 2013 - Enter the USA

In my own case I got SIF and CC on the same day. Called AVR immediately after I got SIF and got CC. Interview date 2 days after CC.

Jan 11 - SIF & CC

Jan 14 - Interview Appointment Letter

Dublin consulate is not as busy so interview scheduling doesnt take as long as many many others.

Filing based on 3yrs/USC Spouse. 3 year residency anniversary is in August 2014. Filed immediately after the 90-day early filing mark (May 2014)


05/06/2014 - Mailed N-400

05/15/2014 - Check cashed

05/12/2014 - NOA Date

06/11/2014 - Biometrics Appointment

09/15/2014 - Inline for interview scheduling (was stuck in "Initial Review" for over 3 months!)

10/27/2014 - Scheduled for interview

12/01/2014 - Interview

12/19/2014 - I AM A US CITIZEN!

No.. if your case is not current then NO interviews will be scheduled. Your priority date has to be within th cut off date.
