Are Pay Stubs necessary?

Hi everyone!

I have an early february interview and I am freaking out. The problem is that the embassy are asking for my husbands 1040's and supporting documents.

Since we went through NVC without any RFE's I'm getting more and more nervous about this interview. We have the 1040's but my husband lived with me and my son in 2009 until august and were then unemployed until he started his new job i January of 2010. We also have an employment letter but no paystubs. Are the paystubs really necessary??

Appreciate all the help!

I would think the employment letter should be fine as long as it says his salary on it good luck!!!! :thumbs:

Mar 28, 2011 Received txt/email saying card production has been ordered. (1month 3eeks 3days)

Mar 28, 2011 Received 2nd txt/email saying we have registered this customer permanent residence status

Mar 29, 2011 Received 3rd txt/email says card production has been ordered.

April 1, 2011 greencard and welcome letter in hand!!

April 5, 2011 received txt/email EAD card production ordered

Will Start Removing Conditions Dec 2012!!!!

Dec. 26, 2012 mailed ROC paperwork

Dec. 28, 2012 NOA for ROC paperwork

Jan. 7, 2013 received bio appt letter

Jan. 24, 2013 bio appt.

June 22, 2013 10yr green card received

If you don't have a pay-stad, you don't have a pay-stab. You reason is your husband was unemployed. Just let the interviewer know this if they ask. And if you have the most recent 6 months of pay-stabs, you can take those with you for completeness's sake. Good luck.
