Hi,

I'd like to know the number that USCIS uses when they send out text notifications on case updates (like when you get approved). I want to add this number to my contact list on my cell phone and change it to a specific ringtone so I know when it's USCIS specifically and not someone else texting me.

Can anyone who has recently got approved and got a text message tell me the number? I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks!

I received text message to notify me from USCIS it's only 5 digits number.... Based on my experienced I got a text message everytime they touch or update my case status...

And what's the 5 digit number? That's what I'd like to know.

I just checked and found 5 digit numbers for USCIS text notifications also. I have two petitions in the grind right now and have received texts from at least two different USCIS numbers. It appears that each petition receives texts from a case sensitive number which is different at least between different types of notifications and probably between different petitioners and different service centers.

So my idea of adding a number to my contact list and assigning a ringtone probably won't work then if it's a different number for every case. Gah >_<
