I need help too!

I currently, as of August 2010, am making enough money to meet the requirements to support my fiance. Before August, I was not making much money in my job as it wasn't salaried. Should I still send in my 1040/W2s from last year?

I obviously plan on getting a letter from my employer stating my salary, and copies of the last 6 pay stubs. So there's two proofs there. Would it just be unnecessary or asking for trouble sending in tax forms that make it appear I don't make enough money? I'm torn. Advice appreciated!

The tax return or transcript is not usually optional. Most consulates require it. The other stuff you're providing is optional, but it's a good idea if your tax return income isn't going to be sufficient the meet the income requirements.

I've never seen the packet 4 instructions from the Embassy in London, but if it says they want the tax return or transcript then you've got to provide it.
